IPL 2018, DD v MI: Fantasy Analysis

1.Rishabh Pant (Delhi Daredevils)
Pant top-scored with 64 off 44 including four boundaries and four maximums in Sunday’s IPL victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Fantasy Analysis

While this wasn’t the best tournament for the Daredevils, Pant established himself as one of the most fear-inspiring batsmen of the tournament. His half-century on Sunday was his fifth of the tournament to go with his unbeaten 128 against Sunrisers at Delhi with three of his half-centuries and his century all coming at home. He finished the tournament atop the run-scoring board with 684 at a strike rate of 173.60 and averaged 52.61 and the 20-year-old should see plenty of international opportunities avail themselves from this summer’s display.

2.Evin Lewis (Mumbai Indians)
Lewis opened with 48 off 31 including three boundaries and four maximums in Sunday’s IPL defeat to the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

The powerful opener had a very up-and-down tournament, finishing with two half-centuries and six of his 13 innings went for scores of 40-plus. However, he also had five innings where he scored 10 or fewer runs including a pair of ducks. That kind of boom-or-bust approach as an opener helps set the tone for the side, but Lewis, when he gets his eye in, showed he can still be one of the most dangerous opening batsmen, as his two T20I centuries in 14 innings shows.

3.Amit Mishra (Delhi Daredevils)
Mishra toppled three for 19 off four overs in Sunday’s IPL victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Fantasy Analysis

After his best spell of the tournament on Friday, Mishra carried his excellent form into Sunday’s season finale. He bowled 13 of his 24 balls for dots, conceded a single boundary and took his first three-for of the tournament. After taking just seven wickets in his first eight innings, he took five across his last two. While Delhi finished at the bottom of the table, they were only two points back of Mumbai and RCB.

4.Sandeep Lamichhane (Delhi Daredevils)
Lamichhane snapped up three for 36 off four overs in Sunday’s IPL victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Fantasy Analysis

The Nepalese bowler, bowling in just his third official T20 match, was expensive at the start but made up for it with a knack for taking wickets. He conceded a boundary and a maximum in his first three balls, but then got the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav in the first over, setting the tone for the rest of the innings. In the 10th over, he toppled the wickets of Kieron Pollard (thanks to some outstanding fielding work from Glenn Maxwell) and then Krunal Pandya three balls later. An excellent List A bowler, the 17-year-old has an incredibly bright future ahead.

5.Ben Cutting (Mumbai Indians)
Cutting raced to 37 off 20 including two boundaries and three maximums in Sunday’s IPL defeat to the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

While they faced a reasonable chase of 175, Mumbai’s batsmen just couldn’t settle into the crease, falling to five for 78 midway through the 10th over, leaving tons of runs for the Indians’ tail as a win would’ve earned them a place in the playoff. Needing nothing short of a herculean effort without any set batsmen, Cutting, a bowling allrounder, showed he can score runs in bunches, finding the rope every fourth ball and broke 30 runs in a T20 for just the 12th time in 72 matches.

IPL 2018, RR v RCB: Fantasy picks

This probably is one of the important matches of the tournament as the outcome will affect the points table. With no Buttler and Stokes, Royals is not the same team whereas, the inclusion of Moeen Ali improved RCB’s strength both with the bat and ball. This probably one of the moves Kohli should have done earlier. With bright chance to get into the playoffs, Kohli will be looking to win this match at a good run-rate so that they can get through easily and for Royals, they will be looking out for the same.

Safe Pick:

Y Chahal
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 46

The batsmen are yet to read his variations, and that is his plus point. He grabs important scalps and cuts the run flow as well.

Hot Pick:

Moeen Ali
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 166

The England All-rounder has provided the much-needed balance for the Bangalore side. Ali will be one of the most important players for the team as the tournament progress.

Tricky Pick:

Ajinkya Rahane
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 13

The Royals needs their best man to perform, but just like Rohit Sharma, Rahane couldn’t find the sweet spot yet. Can he find his form at the right time for Royals?

The Darkhorse

Ish Sodhi
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 51

The Kiwi spinner will play the key role in today’s match as AB de Villiers struggles against Sodhi.

IPL 2018, RR v KXIP: Fantasy Picks

One more loss for Rajasthan Royals and they are out of the tournament. Whereas, Punjab is back to their winning ways. In the last encounter, we saw Rahul emerge as the master-class opener. Despite losing wickets early, Rahul played an impressive innings to take Punjab home comfortably. For Rajasthan, Their bowlers, even Jofra Archer leaked runs.

Rajasthan has all potential to fight back today.
Buttler as the opener was extraordinary in the last two matches, the under-performing star-studded line-up will need to step up and provide a powerful display to defeat Punjab to stay in the hunt. Punjab had a winning combination, and they will probably stick with the same.

Safe Pick:

KL Rahul:
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 185

The other night, we saw different innings from him. His determination to use his timing to play long innings is impressive.

Sanju Samson
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 51

Though Samson failed to play long innings, he consistently bagged 20-30 odd runs in every single match.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 103

If its Rashid Khan for Hyderabad, Rahman it is for Punjab. Both the youngsters are similar in troubling the batsmen.

The Darkhorse:

D’Arcy Short
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 12

So much was expected from the Australian but he disappointed. Still, he should be the key if Rajasthan can turn things around.

Tricky Pick:

Ajinkya Rahane
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 5

The Rajasthan Royals captain has failed to lead the team from the front on multiple occasions. One more similar display and Royals will be knocked out of the tournament.

IPL 2018, SRH v RCB: Perfect fantasy picks

Bangalore must blame none but themselves for being in this position. They now need to win all the matches on the trot to go to the playoffs, and today, they will lock horns with one of the best teams in this year’s IPL- Hyderabad.

Here are the crickingduels fantasy picks for today:

Alex Hales
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 87

In Hales, Hyderabad has found the perfect opener. Though we are yet to see blinder innings from the man, as long as he stays in the crease, Hyderabad has a great chance to win.

Colin de Grandhomme
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 70

The man with the golden arm. When RCB desperately needs wickets, he comes in, bowls an excellent, had pressure on the opponent. If he can knock few out of the park, RCB can still make it to the playoffs.

Yusuf Pathan
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 54

When one thought they could write him off, from nowhere, he played the finisher role for SRH. He is going to be vital here as well.

Shakib Al Hasan
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 4

The Bangladeshi all-rounder is not at his best. He hasn’t lived up to his potential though he did play a hand in few of his team’s victory.

The darkhorse:

Umesh Yadav
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 65

Yadav’s four overs is going to be crucial. Kohli will try to finish him off early before the death overs.

Where: Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
What to expect: A bright and sunny Sunday, a good pitch to bat on.

Evin Lewis is not impressive so far, but he has done better than Pollard. So, most likely Pollard will be warming the bench once again. Mumbai will be looking to strengthen their bowling by bringing Rahman back in place of Ben Cutting.

Shubman Gill will be promoted up the order once again after his wonder innings the other night. Rana practised for hours still, the final call will be taken only before the toss. Tom Curran might replace Johnson as well.

KKR: Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Rinku Singh/Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Dinesh Karthik (c&wk), Andre Russell, Shivam Mavi, Piyush Chawla, Mitchell Johnson/Tom Curran, Kuldeep Yadav.

IPL 2018, MI v KKR: Fantasy Picks

In a virtual do-or-die encounter, Mumbai Indians will face off against Kolkata Knight Riders. Among the two teams, Mumbai Indians will face the pressure. One more loss and they will be knocked out from the tournament. Whereas, KKR is in a better position in the table.

Here are the crickingduels fantasy cricket picks for the match:

Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 123

The young kid was promoted up the order the other night, he played a long innings to take his team home.

Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 110

The KKR captain is averaging about 60 in T20s since 2017 IPL. The new finisher for the Indian team has played some memorable knocks here as well.

Mitch McClenaghan
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 30

The perfect wicket-taker for the Mumbai Indians team. His first spell versus Punjab led the team to the win.

Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 20

It is essential that he gives a good start for the team which he hasn’t done yet. He struggles against the deliveries that came back in.

KXIP v MI : Players to watch out for

The crickingduels fantasy cricket will suggest you to avoid picking these three players in your team.

1. Barinder Sran: The pacer was taken for runs in the last match and might be replaced by Mohit Sharma. Still, Mohit Sharma is not the ideal bowling option as well. Indore will offer spin so make sure you have spinners in your team.

2. Aaron Finch: The Australian cricketer hasn’t performed well in this IPL and in order to strengthen the middle-order Ashwin might bring Miller back into the team.

3. Ishan Kishan: KL Rahul is the better option here compared to Kishan. Also, in the last two matches, he hasn’t found his timing right.

Three players to watch out for:

1. Rohit Sharma: a Few days back, Rohit Sharma smashed joint fastest ton against Sri Lanka in this very venue. Can he repeat again to take Mumbai well past the line?

2. Hardik Pandya: Though he failed to take his team over the line twice now, from the fantasy point of view, he is consistent with both bat and ball.

3. Ankit Rajpoot: The pacer was the man of the match in both the matches he played. His consistent yorkers and his pace variation will play a vital role at Indore.

CSK v KKR: Perfect picks

The revamped Kolkata side faces their first hurdle in the race to qualify for the playoffs. So far, Dinesh Karthik’s captaincy has been pretty ordinary but better than many with four wins and four losses in eight matches whereas, Chennai Super Kings is enjoying the Midas touch in whatever they do. This clash is important for both the teams as every single match from now on is going change the points table.

Robin Uthappa
Last match fantasy points: 79

Uthappa plays his role well- adapts to the conditions. He scores at least 30 runs in every single match. He will look to convert his starts to a big score when he faces his favourite opponent on Thursday.

Ambati Rayudu
Last match fantasy points: 82

He will look to regain the orange cap which he lost to Rishabh Pant on Wednesday. Rayudu’s hunger to score runs no matter where he plays has helped Chennai Super Kings to clinch important two points.

Suresh Raina
Last match fantasy points: 1

Despite being the best player of IPL, Raina has struggled throughout the tournament. Though he had performances to his name, he is not looking confident like he always does.

The Darkhorse:

Sunil Narine
Last match fantasy points: 43

The mystery spinner holds the key for KKR. He needs to step up for the team with both bat and ball to win against a team like CSK.
