IPL 2018, DD v MI: Fantasy Analysis

1.Rishabh Pant (Delhi Daredevils)
Pant top-scored with 64 off 44 including four boundaries and four maximums in Sunday’s IPL victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Fantasy Analysis

While this wasn’t the best tournament for the Daredevils, Pant established himself as one of the most fear-inspiring batsmen of the tournament. His half-century on Sunday was his fifth of the tournament to go with his unbeaten 128 against Sunrisers at Delhi with three of his half-centuries and his century all coming at home. He finished the tournament atop the run-scoring board with 684 at a strike rate of 173.60 and averaged 52.61 and the 20-year-old should see plenty of international opportunities avail themselves from this summer’s display.

2.Evin Lewis (Mumbai Indians)
Lewis opened with 48 off 31 including three boundaries and four maximums in Sunday’s IPL defeat to the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

The powerful opener had a very up-and-down tournament, finishing with two half-centuries and six of his 13 innings went for scores of 40-plus. However, he also had five innings where he scored 10 or fewer runs including a pair of ducks. That kind of boom-or-bust approach as an opener helps set the tone for the side, but Lewis, when he gets his eye in, showed he can still be one of the most dangerous opening batsmen, as his two T20I centuries in 14 innings shows.

3.Amit Mishra (Delhi Daredevils)
Mishra toppled three for 19 off four overs in Sunday’s IPL victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Fantasy Analysis

After his best spell of the tournament on Friday, Mishra carried his excellent form into Sunday’s season finale. He bowled 13 of his 24 balls for dots, conceded a single boundary and took his first three-for of the tournament. After taking just seven wickets in his first eight innings, he took five across his last two. While Delhi finished at the bottom of the table, they were only two points back of Mumbai and RCB.

4.Sandeep Lamichhane (Delhi Daredevils)
Lamichhane snapped up three for 36 off four overs in Sunday’s IPL victory over the Mumbai Indians.

Fantasy Analysis

The Nepalese bowler, bowling in just his third official T20 match, was expensive at the start but made up for it with a knack for taking wickets. He conceded a boundary and a maximum in his first three balls, but then got the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav in the first over, setting the tone for the rest of the innings. In the 10th over, he toppled the wickets of Kieron Pollard (thanks to some outstanding fielding work from Glenn Maxwell) and then Krunal Pandya three balls later. An excellent List A bowler, the 17-year-old has an incredibly bright future ahead.

5.Ben Cutting (Mumbai Indians)
Cutting raced to 37 off 20 including two boundaries and three maximums in Sunday’s IPL defeat to the Delhi Daredevils.

Fantasy Analysis

While they faced a reasonable chase of 175, Mumbai’s batsmen just couldn’t settle into the crease, falling to five for 78 midway through the 10th over, leaving tons of runs for the Indians’ tail as a win would’ve earned them a place in the playoff. Needing nothing short of a herculean effort without any set batsmen, Cutting, a bowling allrounder, showed he can score runs in bunches, finding the rope every fourth ball and broke 30 runs in a T20 for just the 12th time in 72 matches.

IPL 2018, KKR v SRH: Fantasy analysis

An important match for KKR and other teams as if KKR win today, they will qualify and if CSK loses by a huge margin on Sunday, they do have a chance of making it top two.
For SRH, Things haven’t gone their way since their last home game. Their bowlers, the major weapon of Hyderabad hasn’t played well. In a way, this match is important for SRH to get back to the winning ways.

IPL 2018, RR v RCB: Fantasy tips

When: May 19, Saturday at 16:00 IST
Where: Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur
Conditions: The temperature will be on the higher side.

Team News:
In the do-or-die battle, RCB holds the upper-hand as Royals has to let go of Buttler and Stokes. Klassen and Short will be the possible replacements, but both the players couldn’t perform as expected. Whereas for RCB the inclusion of Moeen Ali has given them the much-needed balance and their last three matches they won comfortably.

TEAM PROBABLE:
RR: D’Arcy Short, Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson, Heinrich Klassen, Rahul Tripathi, Stuart Binny, K Gowtham, Jofra Archer, Shreyas Gopal, Dhawal Kulkarni/Anureet Singh, Jaydev Unadkat

IPL 2018, RR v RCB: Fantasy picks

This probably is one of the important matches of the tournament as the outcome will affect the points table. With no Buttler and Stokes, Royals is not the same team whereas, the inclusion of Moeen Ali improved RCB’s strength both with the bat and ball. This probably one of the moves Kohli should have done earlier. With bright chance to get into the playoffs, Kohli will be looking to win this match at a good run-rate so that they can get through easily and for Royals, they will be looking out for the same.

Safe Pick:

Y Chahal
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 46

The batsmen are yet to read his variations, and that is his plus point. He grabs important scalps and cuts the run flow as well.

Hot Pick:

Moeen Ali

The England All-rounder has provided the much-needed balance for the Bangalore side. Ali will be one of the most important players for the team as the tournament progress.

Tricky Pick:

Ajinkya Rahane
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 13

The Royals needs their best man to perform, but just like Rohit Sharma, Rahane couldn’t find the sweet spot yet. Can he find his form at the right time for Royals?

The Darkhorse

Ish Sodhi
Last match crickingduels fantasy points: 51

The Kiwi spinner will play the key role in today’s match as AB de Villiers struggles against Sodhi.
