The 33-year-old provided great help to Rashid Khan in the bowling department and claimed important scalps of Sabbir Rahman and wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. That was not it as he also scored a handy cameo of 31 not out off just 15 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes and took his team over the line for a comfortable win.

3.Rashid Khan (Afghanistan)

Khan claimed figures of four for 12 for Afghanistan in a six-wicket win against Bangladesh in the second T20I of the three-match series in Dehra Dun on Tuesday.

Fantasy Analysis

Khan had another outstanding day for the home side. The young leggie once again proved too hot to handle for Bangladesh batsmen as he finished as the most successful bowler in the match with four scalps, which included the prized wickets of Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan and veteran opener Tamim Iqbal. That was not it as he finished with an economy-rate of just three, the best by any bowler in the match.

Rahman scored 13 off nine deliveries with the help of three fours for Bangladesh in a six-wicket defeat against Afghanistan in the second T20I of the three-match series in Dehra Dun on Tuesday.

Fantasy Analysis

Rahman had another failure for the visitors in a must-win encounter. The right-handed batsman once got out under the score of 20, which was the fourth time in last seven T20I innings and 10th in last 13. The team management will be hoping for an improved show from Rahman in the final game of the series.

5.Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh)

Iqbal scored 43 off 48 balls with the help of five fours for Bangladesh in a six-wicket defeat against Afghanistan in the second T20I of the three-match series in Dehra Dun on Tuesday.

Fantasy Analysis

While batting first in a do-or-die encounter, Iqbal played a responsible knock for his team. The left-hander managed to score at a strike-rate of just 89.58, which was considerably lower than his career strike-rate of 115.11, but he managed to hold one end at a time when Bangladesh was losing wickets at regular intervals. However, the team management will be concerned with the fact that Iqbal could not rotate the strike as much as it was expected of him.

Bangladesh v Afghanistan: Players to watch out for

Afghanistan, after winning the first match with ease pushed Bangladesh to a do-or-die situation as both the teams will lock horns for the 2nd T20I today.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, will look to overcome the glitches they had in the top-order the other night. Their bowling department needs a little revamp as well.

Here are the players to watch out for:

Samiullah Shenwari– His swashbuckling knock of 18 balls 36 played a vital role in driving Afghanistan to 167 in the last match.

Shafiqullah– Backed by a good domestic season, Shafiqullah can be dangerous down the order, and the last match was evidence for that.

Mahmudullah– Be it batting or bowling, Mahmudullah will be the first person to step up for the team.

Liton Das– Bangladesh will be looking for a big score from either of the openers, and Liton Das will hold the key in their batting today.
