Eiji-Kawashima: The veteran Goal-keeper who is still haunted by the team’s 2014 loss to Columbia will make sure that he gets a clean sheet this time. Having said that, Columbia will be eager to exploit his weakness to the crosses.

Keisuke Honda: The 32-year-old is well past his prime but his left-foot is still very capable, and he retains his penchant for the spectacular as many of his 36 international goals suggest. Crickingduels fantasy cricket team for today:

KXIP v SRH- Power players

When Gayle Storm hits you, no matter who you are, you will be taken for a toss. Chris Gayle showed why he is the universal boss. You cannot keep him out of the game for so long. He came, He conquered.

I don’t think there are any doubts. It’s the big man Christopher Henry Gayle. He didn’t try to score from ball one. He took his time to settle. Once he got into the groove, he smashed. Also, he was determined to rotate the strike. No many times we have seen Gayle too keen to pick up ones and twos. It was a different, and a special knock from the special man.

Leaving Gayle’s brilliance aside, Andrew Tye’s bowling was excellent as well. He gave nothing away easily. He was on target for most of the deliveries. Giving away just 23 runs, he picked up two wickets. His spell consisted of ten dot balls. Also, Kane Williamson’s fighting fifty needs an appreciation as well. He tried his best to keep Hyderabad on the hunt.

When everybody was taken for a toss by the universal boss, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was incredible. Ten dot balls in a high scoring game show his class as the bowler. He picked a wicket, gave away 25 runs.

Karun Nair’s 31 off 21 had three fours and a six. Gayle and Nair added 85 runs together, a match-winning stand. Also, B Sran’s spell of four overs 22 runs. He did too well to cut the run flow in the power play overs. Blame the drop catches he ended up wicketless.

Crickingduels fantasy tips: KXIP v DD

It is just the second day of the tournament, and the excitement is already over the moon. The first match did live up to the expectations. Now, it’s time to move on from yesterday to the second day.
It’s a doubleheader today. Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Kolkata Knight Riders, and in another encounter today.

Let’s move on to the first match:

Who: Kings XI Punjab v Delhi Daredevils

Where: IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali

When: 8 April 2018, 1600Hrs (IST)

Team Head to Head

Overall: Matches – 20, Kings XI Punjab won – 11, Delhi Daredevils won – 9

At the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali: Matches – 5, Kings XI Punjab won – 4, Delhi Daredevils won – 1

Fantasy picks:

Chris Gayle: The universal boss was a last minute sign-up to the revamped Punjab side. Though he is 38 years now, he still can win the matches single-handedly for the team.

If he and Rahul start well for the team, Yuvraj Singh and Miller will play the key to take the innings far. Mayank Agarwal is in the form of his life will play an important role as well.

Gautham Gambhir is back to the place where he belongs. He by far is the successful captain for Kolkata. His consistency, sharp captaincy will be something to watch out for. Colin Munro averages nearly 50 in this year’s T20Is. Pant and Iyer had a great run in the domestic T20 that concluded recently. Rahul Tewatia can bat as well.
For the Delhi team, that bat deep, Punjab will have to get at least to 180.

Both the teams are well line-up with local talents especially. Boult and Morris play the key role for DD while captain Ashwin and Axar Patel for Punjab.

Hopefully, the match turns out to be a thriller.
